Their Colorado elopement day started before sunrise, when we all met at the trailhead parking lot to begin our hike to a beautiful alpine lake for their elopement ceremony. At sunrise, Shayna and Josh shared an emotional first look with an epic mountain backdrop. This moment was so good that we devoted a good chunk of time in the video to it. Josh’s sweet words to Shayna make us tear up every time we hear them!
They had a beautiful ceremony along the lakeshore, then ate a picnic breakfast and read some letters their loved ones had written to them. It was such a special way to begin their marriage!
After a few hours rest, we filmed Shayna and Josh getting ready at their little mountain cabin they had rented, and then they shared a charcuterie board on the deck overlooking the river. We rounded out the night by driving to the top of a mountain pass for sunset photos and celebrating with cake and champagne. It truly was such a special day with two of the kindest people we’ve ever met!
