We can't think of a better way to kick off our 2021 summer wedding season than on top of a mountain in Boulder, Colorado with Jesse and Evan! Their intimate wedding at Flagstaff House overlooking downtown Boulder wasn't their first, nor their second try at getting married (thanks, covid). But we'd say their Boulder Colorado wedding turned out pretty darn perfectly!

Not only were they surrounded by their closest family and friends, but the weather turned out to be the nicest day of the year so far. This made for such an amazing First Look on top of Flagstaff Mountain at Lost Gulch Overlook. We love how Jesse's pure white dress highlights her in front of the green pines, the earthy granite, and the blue sky, yet matches perfectly with the snowcapped peaks in the distance. Evan could only stare in astonishment, and we definitely caught that on film!

Jesse + Evan's Boulder wedding video is also completely unique because their amazing band, Graham Good and the Painters, graciously allowed us to use a couple of their songs in the wedding video! They brought so much energy to the day, and we couldn't help but dance while we were filming. If you dig the music in this wedding video, check out their music!

Only Jesse and Evan's local Colorado friends & family members were able to join them for their intimate wedding. Getting Ready: St. Julien Hotel

"Alix and Connor were so helpful, responsive, and most importantly: friendly and professional. Alix and Connor took the time to get to know me and my husband as people. They made sure to get every shot they needed as quickly as possible without losing any quality. They didn’t waste any time planning their next shot or what they wanted us to do. They knew exactly what they were doing the entire time and cooperated with our photographer to work smarter, not harder. And, they did it all without us feeling like we were animals on a documentary shoot (we didn't even realize they were there most of the time!)

They were always so quick to respond to my emails and answered any questions that came up. We received our sneak peak video literally THREE DAYS after the wedding. How fast is that?! The video is absolutely perfect and we are continuously receiving compliments on it. We can’t stop watching it ourselves! We got the rest of our videos back within three weeks which was way faster than anything we expected! We've already spent hours watching and rewatching the perfect videos they created. We went back and forth on whether we should have a videographer or not for our wedding, as it is one of the larger expenses. Finally, we decided to do it and we are sooo happy we did!
