Have we mentioned how much we love Buena Vista and Twin Lakes? We grew up going to BV every summer, and now we spend many weeks there every year in our van. We are so grateful to Allie and Blake for trusting us to help them plan their elopement day!

We assisted them from initial location recommendations to site scouting to find the very best spots for their first look, ceremony, and portraits. Once these sites were selected, we obtained all the necessary elopement permit information to ensure their day went smoothly without complications. After they booked an Airbnb we recommended, we were also stoked to hear that Allie and Blake made the most of our restaurant and activity recommendations. They tried more restaurants in 3 days than we have in 20 years! And their families all went white water rafting on the Arkansas River during the peak flow season. The only thing we love more than spending time in our favorite mountain town, Buena Vista, is filming an adventurous elopement there! Allie and Blake took their Buena Vista elopement to the next level by having their wedding ceremony on the shore of Twin Lakes, surrounded by Colorado's highest mountain peaks. The storm clouds broke during their portraits on the side of a 14er and provided one of the most epic backdrops we've ever seen.
