What's our story?
The year was 1999. One third grader kicked the other one's butt in dodgeball at recess (guess who?). Thus began our life-long relationship, resulting in our marriage 3 weeks after college graduation in 2013. From our childhood scooter club to around-the-world travels, we've been adventuring together since the last millennium!
We thrive in the outdoors, and our biggest passions are exploring new places in our van, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and traveling internationally.
As two introverts, we also love some good down time. Our favorite ways to relax include taking a weekly "day of rest" with no social media, snuggling & watching movies, and finding the best tacos, pizza, and coffee in each new town.

Connor Bruson
As an Enneagram 5, I've always found it a little difficult to express myself through words. Maybe that's what drew me to filmmaking at such a young age. After years of obsessing over movies, my parents bought me my first camcorder when I was 10. From then on, I would write (really dumb) comedic short films, act them out with my friends, and then edit them on Windows Movie Maker (flip, I'm old). Luckily, my tastes and skills have evolved since then, and these days I find so much joy in creating films that will become family heirlooms for our couples. I also enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking, and watching the Lord of the Rings' Appendices...you can't call yourself a true LOTR fan unless you're at that level.

I like to say I have a map in my head. Not only of geography, but of the future, of possibilities, of dreams yet to be fulfilled. I'm lucky enough to live out many of my dreams, such as being married to my perfect counterpart, owning a business with her, and getting to adventure full-time in our van. I have a history in outdoor retail, marketing, event planning, and tourism, and love applying these professional passions to every elopement adventure that I get the pleasure of witnessing and capturing on video. I have to pinch myself after filming elopements. Am I dreaming? Nope, just living the dream!

"great people, amazing videographers"
We can't say enough good things about Alix and Connor. I knew I found my videographer when I watched a wedding video they captured, and I cried my eyes out over complete strangers. We love that they took the time to get to know us as a couple, what was important to us about our wedding, and what we wanted in our video. They are such down to earth people, and we felt so comfortable. Our video was beyond anything we could have dreamed, and it felt so authentically us. We can't thank Alix and Connor enough for the amazing job they did capturing our day. They are so talented! Their work is worth beyond more than the investment. I also HIGHLY recommend adding the teaser trailer video to your package. It was so fun, and we loved having something to share quickly since our family and friends weren't there to see it in person.
